To discover today the big names of tomorrow: such is the aim of this concert, put together in collaboration with Leonardo García-Alarcón, who joins the Académie this year with his ensemble Cappella Mediterranea to share his knowledge of the repertoire and his approach to interpretation. In keeping with the spirit of the Académie's residencies, he will be entrusting part of the musical direction of the concert to a young female conductor in residence. On the programme is a selection of Handel's most beautiful arias and a wealth of new voices belonging to the ten young opera singers of the Académie.
