About
A renowned interpreter of contemporary music, French pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard is ideally suited to guide composers and instrumentalists together on the path to creation. Under his mentorship, the Instrumental Residency is hosting four pianists and four composers, so that the programme of the concert, a reflection and culmination of their joint work, will consist of a bouquet of piano creations premiered for the Aix audience.

A look back at the final concert of the Instrumental Residency. The audience was treated to four world premieres commissioned by the Festival.
The four pianists and four composers presented the results of their residency, under the mentorship of Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Clara Iannotta, Marco Stroppa, and Mark Andre.
