The Festival’s teams warmly thank all the spectators of this 2014 edition for their applause. To continue the experience all summer long, the videos of the operas can be watched online on Arte Concert (Die ZauberflöteIl Turco in ItaliaWinterreise) and Culturebox (Ariodante, Trauernacht).

2014 Festival in figures

In 2014, 81,500 festival goers attended 5 lyrical productions, 18 concerts, 51 symposium, conferences and professional meetings, 64 Académie concerts, conferences and master classes and 84 events of the Festival AIX EN JUIN. The national and international press present in Aix provided a widespread coverage of the Festival such as a full page in the 18 July New York Times dedicated to the Festival innovation policy. This year the Festival has been widely broadcasted live on TV and online on Arte, Mezzo, Arte Concert, Culture Box, Radio Classique, France Musique. Ariodante, The Magic Flute, Il Turco in Italia and Winterreise were projected live in 47 venues in the Région Provence-Alpes Côte d'Azur, in France, in Europe, in South America and in Asia and the concert of the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra was broadcasted live on Youtube.
