Prelude to the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, it takes place in Aix and in its surroundings. The Aix Festival offers the public to attend free performances or at a low price (Pass or at 16€). Special Poulenc Week-end
The Aix Festival will be starting earlier in June with a tribute to the French composer Francis Poulenc whose anniversary is celebrated this year. A three concerts series will be dedicated to his chamber music compositions! A great opportunity to discover international artists such as Eric Le Sage in an outstanding music programme!

Traviata et nous
Spring 2011, Jean-François Sivadier stages La Traviata à Aix, Louis Langrée conducts the London Symphony Orchestra, Natalie Dessay is Violetta. For two months, from the rehearsals studios to the Archevêché Theater backstage, a movie set unit has been following their work. Film-making: Philippe Béziat.
