2011 Figures
The 63rd Festival d’Aix-en-Provence ended on 25 July 2011 with the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra’s concert. 72600 spectators attended this 2011 edition, that is to say a rate of 97,6% of attendance for the 5 operas and a musical theater piece (39 performances). The Festival also scheduled 21 concerts and 44 recitals, chamber music concerts, conferences, master classes of the Académie européenne de musique. The media covering reached a large success with the radio, TV and web live broadcasts on Arte, Mezzo, Arte Live Web, Radio Classique, France Musique, in open air cinemas and on the Pathé Live network.
