The Académie européenne de musique of the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence auditions for its next 2010 production (a chamber opera in 8 poems) in collaboration with the Ensemble Musicatreize:
> 2 casts of singers: one lyric alto (or mezzo), one lyric baritone, a vocal choir of 6 singers (Ensemble Musicatreize – no auditions through the Festivak d'Aix-en-Provence)
> 5 instrumentalists: Alto flute + piccolo, Clarinet (+ bass clarinet), French horn, Harp, Double bass World premiere commissioned by the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence
This world creation, D'un amour infini by Saed Haddad commissioned by The Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, will gather Roland Hayrabedian (music direction) and Thierry Thieû Niang (stage direction) on a libretto in French of Mahmoud Darwish's poems. This musical tale will be published (book and CD) by Actes Sud.
