The American Friends of the International Lyric Art Festival (AFILAF) association was created in April 2001. Based in New York, It is an extension of the Festival from across the Atlantic.
The association aims to foster artistic cooperation between France and the United States. Since its creation, the association that gives all Americans citizens the opportunity to support the Festival while enjoying a tax break, has permitted to back one production every year for 6 years.

Tax deductibility
All Americans have the opportunity to help to finance the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence and the European Academy of Music while enjoying a tax break.
- the AFILAF Ticket Line Priority until 2 weeks before the performance. The tickets are guaranteed until 1 March 2008, in a 4 ticket limit per night.
- The opportunity to modify or cancel your tickets until 1 April 2008. Beyond this date, it is possible to exchange your tickets for other tickets of the same category depending on availability.
Gift of 1000$ (tax deductible)
- the AFILAF Ticket Line Priority until 1 week before the performance. The tickets are guaranteed until 1 April 2008, in a 6 ticket limit per night.
- the opportunity to modify or cancel your tickets until 1 May 2008. Beyond this date, it is possible to exchange your tickets for other tickets of the same category depending on availability.
- the best seats for lectures and meetings concerning the productions
- a priority access to selected open dress rehearsals
- a private backstage tour

- the opportunity to modify or cancel your tickets until 1 June 2008. Beyond this date, it is possible to exchange your tickets for other tickets of the same category depending on availability.
- the best seats for lectures and meetings concerning the productions
- a priority access to selected open dress rehearsals
