“How can a heart transform itself in such a way in a single day?" Fiordiligi, Act II, scene 10

One of the truths that the Age of Enlightenment tirelessly questions is the idea that love and desire cannot coexist. At the "School for Lovers" of Così fan tutte, the philosopher does not teach a method to beginners in emotion, he gives them a life lesson. When written by Mozart however, life takes a hand in the lesson and heart wins over reason. Through the variety of passions, the music acknowledges the infinite change in emotions to deliver the impassioned news to us.

The first performance is in memory of Hans Rosbaud
